Welcome to the new age
The Seehotel Borkum, built in 1907 as the “Hotel Prinzessin Eitel Friedrich”, is one of the island’s historic landmarks. An elegant retreat for decades, it still retains its listed charm today. In 1981, the Upstalsboom Group took over the hotel and carefully modernized it.
A new era begins with the takeover by the BLT Group in 2025. The hotel has already been modernized without losing its historic charm. The BLT Group is continuing along this path and is planning targeted adjustments for even more comfort. Today, the Seehotel offers 39 stylish rooms, some with spectacular views of the New Lighthouse, as well as a prime location close to the sandy beach – a harmonious combination of history and modernity.
